The finale of the 2013 Cape Summer Trail Series took place this past Sunday, 24 February 2013 at Oak Valley, in the heart of Elgin. Awesome weather, jovial atmosphere and stunning scenery with a mountains backdrop created the perfect setting for the final race in the series, as well as the 25km XL route.

Three of the best Cape Summer Trail Series routes from previous years were combined to create the inaugural 34km Trail Series Silvermine Mountain XL event that took place on Saturday, 9 February 2013 in Silvermine Nature Reserve.
