Registration Process

REGISTRATION & RACE PROCEDURES

• A pre-series registration will be held before each series at adidas. An adidas store in Cape Town will host the registration for Cape Series, and the adidas store in Rosebank Mall will host the registration for Gauteng Series. Details of each registration will be sent out prior to each series.
• On the day of each race, registration will be open for you to collect your race number and sign the indemnity.
• A short briefing will be given on the route 5 min prior to the start of each race.
• Any race information relevant to that particular race will be given 5 minutes before the start.
• It is your responsibility to arrive in time to find parking and complete registration.
• Race directions are on each specific event listing. Please find the event you are going to and you will find a link to the directions.
• There will be NO cut-off time on any route, but prize-giving will be given once the top three in each category have finished.
• Prizes will be given per race and for the series, both category winners and spot prizes.
• The series winners of each category, male & female, will share a cash prize pool of R4000, plus products!
• Prizes will be awarded to the series winners at the final event in the series. Runners must be present to receive their prize, or nominate someone to receive their prize for them prior to the prize-giving.
• Every participant that takes part in the Series Championship or Series Challenge will receive a medal. Those that take part in only one or two of the races will not.
• Substitutions will be accepted provided a written proof from the original entrant is brought to registration, or an email is sent to entries@trailseries.co.za requesting the change. No one can race on your behalf.
• Every race will be timed.

COMMUNICATION

• Communication of race changes will be posted on the website www.trailseries.co.za and emailed to all entrants.
• Race results will generally be posted the same day as each race, or early the next day.
