Now what...?
Now that we are approaching the last of the Gauteng Summer Series...what are we to do now?
Owen, Tam - 4 races for the whole of summer just isnt going to cut it...we need more I say...more :)
This is the first season I have partaken in Trail running and I am hooked. But now I am high and dry left wanting...
If there are more runs around that I am not aware of, please can someone help me...I need my weekend fix :)

Cheers Matthew, I completely understand! The good news is that we have lots of excitng plan for 2012... Otherwise keep your eye on www.wildrunner.co.za and maybe we will see you down in CT for one of our epic Mountain Challenges. Matthew - there are some options. Kingskloof out in Krugersdorp and if you don't mind a drive Van Gaalen's Cheese farm at Harties. The routes at Kingskloof are very well marked and it offers great variety. At Van Gaalen's the routes aren't that well marked (but hard to get lost anyway), but you have lots of variety with running next to the river and a little hectic mountain trail by the Greek church. There used to be Teak place in the Cradle but that has closed down. I heard some new operator was going to open, but I haven't heard anything since.
In the south there is Klipriviersberg, but I haven't run here myself.

Hey Matthew
I've created and event on the Wildrunner website for an informal group trail run starting and finishing at Ilhanti on Sunday 18 Dec. It should be approved by Owen for public viewing later today, else mail me at ian@minus273.co.za. There's a few people interested in coming out for the whole weekend, so I'm looking at putting together routes for Friday and Saturday too.
