Online entries for the 2017 Spur Gauteng Summer Trail Series® have closed, but we are accepting late entries as follows:

Enter this Friday at Registration - no late entry fee will apply (individual short course, long course or Series®). Enter on event day - LIMITED Race 1 entries will be available, no Series® entries will be available. 
An additional R30 late entry fee will be applicable for all entries on event-day. Cash or Snapscan accepted.  
On-the-day entries will only be available from 05h00 to 06h45. If you aren't in the queue by 06h30 you won't be on the start line - so swing through early and enjoy a great pre-race vibe!

Race 1 is at Hennops this Sunday, see you there!

  • Boys and girls will only be separated in the Junior category and only if there are at least five of each gender running in this category. If there is not at least five boys or five girls running a particular race then these boys and girls will race in one category.
  • The Minimee and Peewee categories will not be separated according to gender.
  • Series category prizes will only be awarded if there is a minimum of five entries in any particular category at the start of the Series.
  • We strongly advise that children between 8 - 11 years be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Any runner found to be falsifying information to gain a competitive advantage (for example lying about age) will be disqualified.
  • Race category prizes will only be awarded if there is a minimum of five entries in any particular category.
  • Series category prizes will only be awarded if there is a minimum of five entries in any particular category at the start of the Series.
  • With the exception of Juniors, Minimees and Peewees, category prizes will only be awarded to Series winners and not on a race-to-race basis. Only the first three male and female runners across the line will receive prizes at every individual race.
  • Runners who are 17 years old will be entered into the JUNIOR category by default. However, they may choose to compete in the SENIOR category upon entering their first race by informing the organisers at registration.
  • Peewees, minimees and juniors under the age of 17 are NOT allowed to compete in the Senior category.
  • Veterans and masters will be entered into their specific age categories by default. However, they may choose to compete in the SENIOR category upon entering their first race by informing the organisers at registration. You will not be allowed to change your category after the race.
  • No-one will be allowed to change to a different category during the Series, i.e. after running one race in a specific category. If you start off in the SENIOR category, you have to finish the Series in the same category.
  • Age categories are determined by your age on the day of the first race that you run. If your birthday occurs during the Series you cannot choose to run one of the later races in an older category.
  • JUNIOR category entry is subject to the indemnity being signed by a parent or guardian. No junior under the age of 17 will be allowed to enter the long route.
  • We strongly advise that children between 8 - 11 years be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Kids under 6 MUST run with a parent or guardian and will not be allowed on the course without supervision.
